I finally find someone with a good price and then he ups it. I probably will still hired him for the siding but find a different painter. The wife says oh he thought you only needed a little painting. How could the guy come to my house and think I needed a little painting. It needs a lot of painting. Now I have to start from scratch finding a new contractor. They just doubled the price.
I started with Craig's list. I do have one referral and know where to get other ones. But if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. I am so nervous already about spending all this money. Houses are just money pits.
My neighbors are buying a new house for cash. They said they are good savers. How can you be a good saver in this world?
